STENFLEX® PTFE expansion joints have astounding resistance to aggressive chemicals & solvents and have exceptional absorbent, compensating and tension‑reducing properties. STENFLEX®’s non-sensitive PTFE expansion joints are used extensively in pipeline systems operated by waste disposal and treatment companies. The White PTFE bellows are not electrically conductive and can be used as insulators while the Black PTFE bellows are used in hazardous areas, since the inclusion of carbon black prevents static charge.
